Brilliant learning in science this week as children investigated how sounds are made and how the effect of vibration can be seen and felt.
It was lovely to Snuggle with Stories this week – it is a super moment in our school calendar.
And World Book Day was rich with discussion and sharing. In Nile we tried grouping the books we had brought in to share in numerous creative ways – including size and mythical/non-mythical but settled on author or topic being rather more logical!
Next Week and Notices:
Wednesday: Learning Conversations
STEM week: Swimming and LAMDA will continue as usual but the rest of the week will be an outdoor learning focus in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Please ensure the children have suitable outdoorwear with them each day (Forest School Kits would be ideal) – we will be out whatever the weather (and sadly the forecast is not brilliant).
We will be collapsing the timetable to immerse ourselves in out wonderful outdoor space so there is no guided reading text next week

LAMDA: If they have not already done so, please could children bring to school their choice of poem by a published poet that they would like to practice for LAMDA.
Wishing Nile and Amazon families a restful weekend.
